A new EU-funded project, PEDvolution, joined the expanding ecosystem of initiatives supporting positive energy at the local and regional level, contributing to the EU’s ambitious energy goals. VITO and Sympraxis are the common partners with oPEN Lab.
Throughout its 3-year duration, PEDvolution aims to develop 7 interoperable solutions for the planning, implementation and testing of Positive Energy Districts across Europe.
The project’s 1st General Assembly took place on 28th & 29th February 2024, in Athens, Greece, marking the project’s official kick-start. The meeting, which was hosted by Inlecom as project coordinator, was a very productive one. Representatives from all 15 participating organisations from 7 European countries (Greece, Belgium, Slovenia, Norway, Austria, Germany and Switzerland) initiated their collaboration, planned the upcoming activities, discussed and progressed with project tasks.
