The CIDEU is a network of Ibero-American cities working on strategic urban planning; their annual Congress on this occasion took place in Zaragoza, where for three days representatives of Ibero-American cities debated new technologies, sustainability and governance.

Leire Iriarte from the City of Pamplona, explained the actions of oPENLab project at the CIDEU congress, which include a thorough energy renovation of a block in San Pedro, the constitution of an Energy Community and the implementation of an energy advisory office in the neighbourhood.

Pamplona’s experience was presented within the thematic table “Technologies for the innovative city”, where it shared space with good practices from cities such as Mendoza (Argentina), Riobamba (Ecuador), Tunja (Colombia) or Zaragoza itself.
